UPS does NOT consider weekends or holidays to be "shipping days". The map refers to "business days" only and is meant as a rough guideline. UPS does not guarantee their ground shipping method. UPS is also not able to deliver to PO Boxes. We strongly urge all customers with a deadline to utilize a UPS expedited shipping method such as Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and 3 Day Select as they have the highest priority in our shipping department. These are the only guaranteed shipping methods that UPS provides (excluding non-business days). Please note that USPS shipping has the same priority as all other ground methods of shipping and does not have priority over other shipping methods.
This map will give you an idea of delivery times for UPS Ground packages leaving from our Overland Park, KS warehouse.
We make every attempt to ship the majority of our orders within 24 to 48 hours of placement (excluding weekends and holidays). If there is to be an extended delay in shipping your order due to circumstances beyond our control, we will attempt within all reasonable means to contact you for further instructions.
Preventing Fraudulent Charges
At 911 Custom we take very strict precautions to ensure that many of our orders are verified in order to guard against fraud. We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover and PayPal via the website. For security and fraud prevention purposes, we only ship to the billing address of the card holder. If you need to ship to a different address other than the billing, we do suggest that you add a temporary shipping address to your credit or debit card. We will then have to verify this has been done with the corresponding bank or credit card company. Orders will be put on hold until the information can be verified. We also accept prepaid gift cards with the Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express logo. To avoid delays in processing your order, please register a billing address for the gift card prior to redemption. Failing to do so could result in funds being placed on hold and delays in processing and shipment of your order. 911 Custom will not be responsible for upgrading the shipping or offering a discount of any sort should either of these situations occur. The customer is responsible for ensuring that all billing and shipping information is accurate.
Shipping to US Territories
We ship all orders via UPS. This carrier uses the weight, dimensions, and destination of each order in order to calculate the appropriate shipping charge.
Oversized / Large Items
The online system is not able to always accurately calculate the shipping for larger items, such as light bars, push bumpers, prisoner compartments/barriers, etc. There may be instances where one of our Customer Service Representatives will contact you after your order has been placed in order to verify any changes in the shipping costs.
911 Custom Shipping Policies
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. We ship packages via UPS. Complete orders will typically ship the same business day as long as they are placed before 1 PM CT. While we make every attempt to ship the day of your order, there is no guarantee of this. We also cannot guarantee that your package will arrive in any particular time frame. There are instances where UPS will delay the shipment of a package due to unforeseen events. If your package has been delayed beyond its scheduled delivery time, we will not be able to refund any shipping charges. Please be aware that UPS does not have any guarantees as to the delivery time of a ground package.
WE DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY
If a customer is in receipt of merchandise that was drop-shipped (merchandise from one of 911 Custom’s distributors shipped directly to the customer), it is the customer’s responsibility to contact 911 Custom regarding the drop-shipped merchandise. We will not be held liable for issuing refunds and/or exchanges on any drop-shipped merchandise that a customer has chosen to return to the distributor. In addition, 911 Custom will not be held liable for any missing or damaged items that the customer has chosen to return to the distributor. Furthermore, if drop-shipped merchandise has been returned to the distributor by the customer, 911 Custom reserves the right to end all further assistance and proceedings regarding the customer’s order. All drop shipped merchandise must be returned to 911 Custom, not to the manufacturer.
Should a package be lost or damaged, it is the customer’s responsibility to report the loss to 911 Custom so that the problem may be addressed in a timely manner. Lost UPS packages must be reported within 30 days of the original ship date of the package. Please be aware that claims cannot be opened after 90 days, and 911 Custom assumes no responsibility for claims made after these time periods.
